Enchanted Lagoon of Guelatao

Description
A lagoon measures over 328,1 feet (100 metres) in diameter. The water, according to local statements, changes from green to red, yellow, and brown, to completely murky depending on the season. Extensive grasslands and leafy trees surround it. The landscape is mountainous.


Location
• Guelatao de Juárez: Is located 34 miles (55 kilometres) North of the City of Oaxaca via highway 190 to the Isthmus. When you reach the Juárez monument, turn left at the detour to continue on highway 175. Approximate travel time: [1:15]
